2024-2025 National PTA Reflections
The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Georgia PTA cultural arts competition. Since 1969, over 10 million nationwide students have participated in the popular PTA program.
This program aims to allow students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their original works. The excitement and enthusiasm the program generates for students, parents, schools, and communities are unmatched, with most Georgia PTAs participating in the program at all PTA levels.
Young artists get involved through their local PTA or PTSA. A student may submit an entry in any of the six arts areas. Only original works of art are accepted. The six art areas are Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.
The Reflections Program provides an excellent opportunity for students of all ages to:
• Unleash their creative talents and be inspired
• Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
• Experience the joy and fun of making art
• Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
• Receive positive recognition for their original works of art

Students may submit single or multiple entries in any of the six arts areas listed above. Only original works of art are accepted.
Students’ works of art are critiqued by grade level so that recognition and judging artworks are appropriate for developmental age and skill level. Two entries for each grade will advance to Council, although not every school will have two entries per grade.
The entries will be segmented by grade level at the Council Level and judged again. Two winners will be selected from each grade level, and those winning entries will advance to the State Level.
